About this space
The Ohio Statehouse in downtown Columbus rents its Atrium, Rotunda, Museum Gallery and smaller rooms for weddings, receptions and corporate events. Outdoor plazas are also available. Events need a permit, and food and drink come from approved caterers.

How they charge
Each space has a non-refundable booking fee, from $50 to $300 (Atrium $300). Staff labor, security and equipment cost extra. A $10,000 wedding package covers the State Room, Ladies Gallery and more.
Deposit
A non-refundable booking fee comes with the permit application. Full payment is due five business days before the event.

Book ahead
Send the permit request at least 15 days before the event. The Ohio Administrative Code allows less time for good cause.
Event hours
Permitted special events can run every day of the year except national holidays when the building is closed, 7 a.m. to 12 a.m. Guests may not arrive before 8 a.m. and must leave by 11 p.m.

Parking
Underground garage with sheltered access to the Statehouse. Public entry is 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Rates start at $3 for the first hour. Vehicles must be under 6'6".
