These terms cover your use of Columbus Event Spaces. Using the guide means you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the guide.
Who we are
Columbus Event Spaces is run by GM SideKick™, a service of Spark Leads Agency, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company at 2691 E Main St, Columbus, OH 43209. In these terms we, us, and our mean Spark Leads Agency, LLC. You means the guest who uses the guide. Venue owners who ask us to list, update, or test their venue, and GM SideKick™ clients, follow our main Terms of Service.
What the guide is
Columbus Event Spaces is a free guide to private event spaces in Columbus. It is free for guests. We list venues, show their facts, and pass your questions to them. We do not own or run the venues. We do not host your event.
You book with the venue
When you book, your deal is with the venue. We are not a party to it. The venue sets the price, the deposit, the rules, and the refunds. Deposits go to the venue’s own account, even on a partner’s booking page. Read the venue’s terms before you pay. Any dispute about your event is between you and the venue.
Facts and prices
We gather venue facts from public sources, such as venue websites, and from venues that check their pages. Facts can change without notice. Hours and “open now” come from public listings and can be wrong on holidays. Prices on this site are estimates. The venue sets the final price. Check every detail with the venue before you book.
Photos and content
Photos, logos and venue names belong to their owners. Most photos come from the venues’ own websites. We credit the source under the photos and videos on each venue, room and event page. Do you own a photo or other content on this site and want it changed or removed? Email support@gmsidekick.app. Tell us the page and what you own. We act promptly. Are you in a photo here and want it taken down? Email us and we remove it.
Our own text, scores, and layout belong to Spark Leads Agency, LLC. Share links freely. Quote and summarize the guide with a link back.
Scores
Each score is GM SideKick™’s opinion. It comes from dated tests where we reach out like a real guest. A score is not a promise about your event. How we score explains the tests.
Partners and fees
Some venues are GM SideKick™ partners. They pay us to help book their events. Their cards and pages say “GM SideKick™ partner.” When you book one through us, we earn a fee. That fee is built into the price the venue quotes you. No one can buy a score.
Featured spots
Featured spots are labeled. Being featured never changes a score.
Your questions to venues
When you ask about a space, we send your question to that venue. If we don’t have the venue’s events email yet, it comes to us first and we pass it on. For partners, we answer for the venue. We cannot make a venue reply. If it is slow to reply, you can ask us for other spaces. Some venues on that list may be partners. Send true details only. Never send card numbers or passwords.
Concierge texts
When you ask us to text you, you agree that we may text you about your request. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of buying anything. Message frequency varies. Msg and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or email support@gmsidekick.app. Reply times we show are our goal, not a promise. Our guest Privacy page explains how we handle your number.
What’s on emails
What’s on is a free email about ticketed events in Columbus. We send at most one a week. Some events are at partner venues, and we earn a fee when you buy their tickets. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Compare
Compare keeps your picks in your own browser. They stay on that device until you clear them.
Using the guide fairly
Use the guide to plan real events. You must be 18 or older to send a question or ask for texts.
AI assistants are welcome. A personal AI assistant or browser agent may search, compare and send a question for a real guest, with that guest’s OK and real details. Search engines and AI tools may read, index, quote and summarize the guide, with a link back, at a normal pace.
Don’t copy the guide in bulk to republish it or to build a competing directory. Don’t send traffic that slows the site down or get around our security. Don’t send spam, or false, fake or abusive messages to venues or to us. We can block anyone who does.
Links to other sites
Venue pages link to venue websites, booking pages, menus, maps, and ticket pages. Some pages show maps from Google and videos from YouTube or Vimeo. We do not run those sites or tools. Their terms and privacy policies apply there.
The guide is provided as is
We provide the guide as is and as available. We disclaim every warranty the law lets us disclaim, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the guide, its facts, its prices, or its scores are complete, current, or free of errors, or that the guide runs without interruption. Some states do not allow these exclusions, so part of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for what happens at a venue or at your event, or for a venue’s prices, replies, or refunds. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, even where we knew they were possible. Our total liability for everything arising from these terms or the guide is capped at the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for willful misconduct, or for anything the law does not let us limit.
If you misuse the guide
If you misuse the guide or break these terms, and someone makes a claim against us because of it, you cover our reasonable costs of that claim, including reasonable lawyer fees. This doesn’t cover anything we caused.
The whole agreement
These terms, our guest Disclaimers and our guest Privacy page are the whole agreement between us. The Disclaimers and the Privacy page are part of these terms. If they and these terms disagree, these terms decide. If a court finds one part unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
Changes to these terms
We can update these terms. The current version sits on this page with its Last updated date. Using the guide after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law and disputes
Ohio law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Talk to us first. Email support@gmsidekick.app with the problem and we work on it with you for 30 days. If the talk does not settle it, the state and federal courts in Franklin County, Ohio hear the dispute and both sides consent to that venue.
