How do I start a reservation?

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is no earlier than 3 PM and no later than 8 PM. Check-out is by 10 AM unless pre-arranged with staff. Check-ins after 8 PM must be set up at least 48 hours ahead.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cottage reservations: 50% of the deposit is returned at 60 days before the date and 25% at 30 days. Under 30 days, the deposit is not returned and a $250.00 late cancellation fee applies.

Can individuals book a personal retreat?

Yes. Personal retreats run Tuesday noon to Sunday noon, September to May, when space is available. Lodge rooms are $80 a night Tuesday and Wednesday and $100 Thursday to Saturday; cottage cabins are $60 a person a night.

Can guests bring their own alcohol?

The site lists BYOB (bring your own) as an option for guests. It lists no bar service. 21+ with valid ID.

How does Procter Center handle dietary needs?

Gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan and vegetarian meals are available when guests register ahead of time. The kitchen works with guests before every visit on food allergies.

For groups of 10 or more, the 2025 rates are breakfast $15, continental breakfast $12, brunch $18, lunch $18, dinner $25 and snacks $8-10. Rates are subject to change.

Self-serve coffee and tea are available in the Dining Hall at all times, and coffee service comes with breakfast. Extra coffee service can be requested when you book.

Which meeting rooms can I rent, and what do they cost?

The 2023 daily rates are $325 for Bishop Thompson Room (up to 150) and for Bishop Hobson Hall (up to 300), $175 for each small meeting room (up to 20) and $125 for the Bishop Price Pavilion.

How many people does the Dining Hall seat?

Round and long tables seat 125 comfortably, and the maximum capacity is 145, as posted on the dining page. The home page says up to 128.

What lodging does Procter Center have?

Thompson Lodge has 22 hotel-style rooms, each with a private bath. Cottage cabins sleep 6 to 16 with shared baths.

What AV equipment is available?

Video conferencing with a 65-inch smart TV and sound bar, a copy machine and a portable projector. Two event spaces have raised stages with AV, VGA hook-ups and pianos. A small fee applies to some supplies.

What does beverage service cost for a meeting?

For large meeting rooms: up to 20 people $25, 21-50 people $50, 51 or more $100, and over 100 people call for pricing (2023 rates). The small meeting rooms list coffee service at $30, $60 and $120.

Can Christ Chapel be used for a service?

Yes. It is used for worship during retreats and for diocesan services, and it can be the setting for a memorial service. The rate is by phone call.

Is parking free, and is the site accessible?

Parking is free for customers, hotel, cottage and camp guests. The site lists an ADA accessible lodge, and the Bishop Price Pavilion is ADA accessible.
