GM SideKick™

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 3, 2026

This policy explains what information GM SideKick™ collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We write it in plain English on purpose.

Who we are

GM SideKick™ is a product of Spark Leads Agency, LLC. Our address is 2691 E Main St, Columbus, OH 43209, United States. We are the company behind this policy. Email us at support@gmsidekick.app.

Who this covers

This policy covers four groups. Visitors to this website. Restaurants that buy our services. Guests who send private-event inquiries to a restaurant we work with or buy tickets on a page we build for it. Venues in Columbus Event Spaces, our guide, and the people who work there. That includes anyone who asks for a free Room Tour or a change to a listing. Guests who use the guide have their own guest Privacy page.

What we collect from restaurant clients

When you contact us or buy the trial, the build, or the monthly plan, we collect your name, business name, email, phone number, and venue address. We also collect what you tell us about your rooms, menus, capacity, and prices. Our checkout pages run on HighLevel. They ask for your name, email, phone, billing address, and card. A payment processor handles the card. We never see or store your full card number. Your client login also runs on HighLevel.

What we receive about your guests

When we answer inquiries for a restaurant, we receive the guest’s name, contact details, event date, headcount, room, and budget. We also receive whatever the guest writes to us, and whatever guest information the restaurant routes to us. We use it to answer the inquiry, book the event, and follow up. Guests pay their deposit on the booking page through the payment processor. The deposit goes to the restaurant’s account. The processor handles the card details. We never see or store a guest card number. When a guest buys a ticket on a page we build, we receive their name, contact details and ticket order. The payment processor handles the card details.

Our role and the restaurant’s role

The restaurant decides why its guest information is collected and how it is used. We handle that information for the restaurant and on its instructions. The restaurant is responsible for its own privacy notice to its guests and for any consent the law requires. Our agreement with the restaurant sets out who holds the records we build and what each side may do with them.

If you list your venue

When you ask for a free Room Tour, we collect your name, role, venue name, website or Instagram, email, your mobile number if you give it, and your best visit time. When you ask us to update your page, test your venue, re-test it or post a response, we collect your name, venue, email, page link, request and message.

On a Room Tour we film and photograph your rooms with no guests in them. We film a staff member’s face only with that person’s signed OK. We take notes on your rooms, prices, fees and rules. We may record a voice note after the visit. AI tools help us turn those notes into your page. We review the page before it goes up.

We use your details to set up your visit, build and update your page, send you guest questions, and reply to you. We email you about your page. We call or text your own mobile only if you tick those boxes or contact us that way first. We may call the venue’s business line about your page. We may also email you about GM SideKick™, our paid service. Each of those emails has an unsubscribe link.

Your page is public. So is a public response you post, and any event contact you ask us to show.

Venue research and tests

We build venue pages from public sources, such as venue websites, menus, social pages and Google Business Profiles. Those sources can include work contact details for venue staff, such as a name, role, work email or business phone. We use them to contact the venue about its listing and to pass on guest questions.

To score a venue, we contact it like a guest would, by web form, email and phone. The venue doesn’t know it’s a test. We keep the messages and times from every test. They can include what staff wrote or said and the names they gave. We use them to score the venue and to show it its scorecard and proof.

Many venue photos in the guide come from the venues’ own websites. Some show people. If you are in one and want it taken down, email us and we remove it.

What this website collects automatically

This website runs on Framer. Framer records basic visit data for us. That means pages viewed, the site you came from, your rough location by country, and your device and browser type. It counts visits and nothing more. It does not follow you to other websites. Framer also sees your IP address to serve the page and keep the site secure. Pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address. Our chat tool collects more. The next section explains it.

Our chat tool

Our chat tool comes from LeadConnector (HighLevel). Its script loads on every page of this website, even where the chat bubble is hidden. On each page load it sends LeadConnector a record of the visit and looks up your rough location from your IP address. It also loads fonts and images from other servers, such as Bunny Fonts, which see your IP address.

It also keeps a visit history in your browser. That history can hold the pages you viewed, the site you came from, campaign tags in the link, Facebook click IDs if your link had one, and a device fingerprint.

If you open the chat, Cloudflare checks that you are not a bot. If you write to us, we get your name, phone number, messages, and any voice notes or files you send. We use them to answer you. The chat also has a box that agrees to texts and emails from us. It starts ticked. The chat needs it ticked to send. Reply STOP to any text to stop them.

LeadConnector runs the chat for us. Clear this site’s data in your browser to remove the visit history there. Your rights, below, cover what we hold.

The Event Profit Calculator

Every figure you enter in the Event Profit Calculator stays on your device. There is no server behind the calculator to send them to. You can also save a backup to a folder you pick. The optional sign-up is a HighLevel form. It collects only what you type into it. It cannot see your figures.

The video player

Our watch page and trial page can each hold a video. No player loads while no video is set. When a video is set the page loads a third-party player such as YouTube or Vimeo. That player can set cookies on your device and record that you watched. The company behind it handles that data under its own privacy policy. Venue pages in our guide can show room videos the same way. A YouTube room video loads its preview image from YouTube before you press play. Block third-party cookies in your browser to limit this.

Cookies and your choices

We set no advertising cookies of our own and run no ad pixels. Our chat tool does track visits, as the section above explains. The site keeps a little data in your browser session storage so pages load and scroll the way they should. That data clears when you close the tab. Video players and Google Maps can set their own cookies when they load. Clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings any time. The site still works. We don’t take special action when your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

How we use information

We use information to run the service you bought. That means answering inquiries, sending follow-up, review, and rebooking messages for the restaurant, promoting its ticketed events, taking payment, supporting you, improving the service, and meeting our legal duties. We also use it to build and update venue pages in Columbus Event Spaces, test and score venues, answer chat messages, and tell venues about GM SideKick™. We do not sell personal information.

Who we share it with

We share information with the providers that run the service for us. Framer hosts this website and its forms. HighLevel (LeadConnector) runs our chat, contact records, client login, and checkout pages. A payment processor handles cards. Email and SMS providers send our messages. AI tools help us write and sort information. Scheduling and storage tools hold our calendar and files. Each one may use it only to provide that service to us. Google sends our fonts and maps and handles what it receives under its own privacy policy. We share a guest’s question with the restaurant or venue it is for. We also share information when the law requires it, when a court or regulator demands it, or when we need it to protect our rights or someone’s safety. If the business is sold the records transfer with it. We do not sell personal information. We never share your mobile number or text consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

Messages we send for you

We send follow-up, review-request, and rebooking messages only to guests who contacted or booked with a restaurant we work with. For ticketed events we also email the restaurant’s own guest list for it. When we market its event we also post on its social pages. We send them for that restaurant and it is responsible for the consent the law requires. We use that list only to send the restaurant’s emails. We never add it to our own lists and we never sell it. Every message names the restaurant it comes from. Every message includes a way to stop. Reply STOP to a text or use the unsubscribe link in an email. We stop. Message and data rates may apply.

Texts and emails from us

We text you when you text us first, or after you give us your number and agree to texts on one of our forms or in our chat. If you are a client, we may also text the numbers you give us about your account. Agreeing to texts is never a condition of buying anything. Message frequency varies. Msg and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or email support@gmsidekick.app.

We share your number with the restaurant or venue it concerns and with the providers that run our chat and send our texts. We never share your mobile number or text consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Use it, or email us, and we stop within 10 business days. We keep a note of each opt-out so we keep honoring it.

Automated replies

Automated software drafts the replies, sends them, and books the date. Our team sets it up, reviews it, and stays responsible for what goes out. When a guest asks for a person we hand the conversation to the restaurant. You can ask for a person to review anything the software sent you.

How long we keep it

We keep client records while you use the service and for six years after, because Ohio gives a party that long to bring a contract claim. We keep guest inquiry records while the restaurant is a client, or for as long as the restaurant tells us to. We keep listing details while a venue is listed. We keep test records while we need them to support a score. We keep chat records and outreach contacts only while we need them. We keep a note of each opt-out so we keep honoring it. We hold a record longer when a dispute or the law requires it. We delete or anonymize records once we no longer need them.

Your rights

Ask us and we will show you, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. Send your request to support@gmsidekick.app. We answer within 45 days. If a request is complex we take longer and we tell you why. We may need to confirm who you are first. We may keep what we need to back up a published score, to honor an opt-out, or to meet a legal duty. A restaurant can ask us to delete the guest data we hold for it. A guest of a restaurant we work with should ask that restaurant first, and we will help it answer. A venue contact can ask us to stop emails, calls and texts to them. That doesn’t stop our tests of the venue. We never charge for a request and we never treat you worse for making one.

California privacy rights

California residents can ask what personal information we hold, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. You can also ask us to limit how we use sensitive personal information. We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Our chat tool, video players, and Google Maps collect some data directly, as the sections above explain. We do not treat you differently for using these rights. You can name an authorized agent to make a request for you. If you are a guest of a restaurant we work with, ask that restaurant first and we will help it answer.

Visitors from the EU and UK

We serve restaurants in the United States. Anyone can reach this site, so here is the short version. Our legal bases are our contract with you and our legitimate interest in running and securing the site. Where we need your consent we ask for it. You can ask for access, correction, deletion, a copy of your data, or a stop to certain uses. We handle your data in the United States, which has different privacy laws than yours. Email us and we will answer. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

We protect information with access controls, encrypted connections, and accounts limited to the people who need them. No system is perfect and we do not claim ours is. If a breach affects your data we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Children

This service is for businesses. Columbus Event Spaces is for adults who plan events. Neither is directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Tell us if you think a child gave us information and we will delete it.

Changes

We update this policy when the service changes. The current version and its Last updated date sit at the top of this page. We email clients before a material change takes effect.
